The Narrative Observatory

The Narrative Observatory provides narrative and cultural strategists tools, like this website, along with industry-grade data infrastructure to understand audiences relative to their place in culture; to identify, measure, and track narratives within audiences over long time scales; and to surface audience-specific story opportunities and threats. With initial funding from Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and most recently Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the Narrative Observatory has become a widely used tool for cultural strategists and storytellers working to shift the cultural narratives.
